Ornamental Nursery

We are extremely proud of our heritage and history. From our humble beginnings in 1991 as a 5 acre, family-run blueberry farm, JRT Nurseries Inc. has grown significantly and steadily. As the blueberry industry continued to expand and grow, so did our farm and nursery. Our farms and nurseries now encompass over 500 acres. We operated only in Canada until 2004 and then expanded our operations into the United States.

In 2004, JRT Nurseries began to make use of its tissue culture lab and propagation expertise and began to develop an extensive Ornamental nursery stock product line.  Early in 2007, it became apparent that the ornamental stock was of more than sufficient quality to begin marketing to growers, nurseries, and retail garden centres.
